@trach I’ve been in the tracheostomy world for 48 years and have had the same doctor since I was 12 years old. She retired about a year ago, but I stayed within the same practice. The new doctor was trained by her, so thankfully, I feel very comfortable with my care in that area.

Had my first tracheostomy at birth. Still have the original tube.

Great. I made an appt. last April with the #1 rated laryngologist jn
Indiana ( a four month wait time). The day of the appt. last month we
recieved 5 inches of rain couldn't make it so had to cancel. In the interim
( last July) I went to Arizona for a week. Didn't have to take any meds. It
got to112 but was much more bearable than Indiana. Hope to relocate soon.
