Hair loss after med change

I have had a jpouch for 30 years. A year ago I was switched from azathioprine & cipro/flagyl, which I had been on for 10+ years. I am have been on Tremfya for a year and also added vancomycin in May for some inflammation in my pouch. In the past year, I have noticed that I my hair has gotten a lot thinner and I am losing a lot more hair daily than I did while on the other meds. I have looked on the side affects and this in not one of them. I'm wondering if it is the meds, or is it just my age creeping in on me? Thanks for any advice.

I have found any time I am on a course of antibiotics that my hair falls out at a pretty fast clip. You were on some pretty strong antibiotics with Cipro and Vancomycin.i take biotin, one of the B vitamins, daily. I took Cipro and Flagyl for sigmoid diverticulitis which I developed recently as if having Crohn’s Disease wasn’t enough.

@skypledger I have never taken Biotin, does it seem to help? I am only on vancomycin right now, but am taking 125mg 2x/day plus the Tremfya every 28 days.
