Hi Bob,

Yes, Dr. Frendl is my Doctor / Urologist at Mayo and did my Nano Knife procedure. The procedure took just over two hours. Recovery is not pleasant with a catheter for 10 days. And had to go to the emergency room for a second catheter after the first one was removed. About 6 weeks to get back to semi normal……… May 19-2026 as of August 21-2026 my PSA 2.2 . And yes, by all means have a back-up plan 🙂 Thank you for your prayers 🙂

No side effects other than the recovery itself 🙂

@cole5055 I had Nanoknife surgery on August 21. Dr Strauss at University Colorado Anschutz Hospital was my dr. I had a tumor 1 mm in size. The dr said the treatment was successful. It took around 1 hour. He is a fantastic dr. Had to wear a catheter for 1 week. It was removed on Friday. What a relief. My energy level continues to get better. I walked 6,000 steps today
