@nohrt4me i am curious, what are you doing for nausea? My daughter is experiencing unbelievable nausea, and she has taken ondansetron and a number of different medications, and nothing seems to help. This nausea is debilitating and painful to watch her be so uncomfortable. She is off medication right now because she is allergic to Besremi, and she is the first person in the history of the world to be allergic to Besremi. With Pegasus, her side effects are even worse. We are at a loss over here. This is a desperate mom.

@dmcj I don't take Besremi. I am on hydroxyurea, but following folks who are on Besremi in case it becomes affordable for me. My doctor prescribed Compazine (prochlorperazine) pills with hydroxyurea in case I needed it, but I didn't.

It is really hard to see your kid sick--harder than being sick yourself.

It sounds like a call to the hemo is in order. If you don't get any traction, can you call your primary doc? The primary might be able to prescribe something or advise you about getting a second opinion if the hemo is not responsive.

@dmcj have you tried ginger candies?
