Weight Gain on Tymlos

I came off Tymlos SUDDENLY after being on for 19 months on July 4, 2026 (a great, big calcium oxalate kidney stone came on the scene out of nowhere that day, so that was my last TYMLOS shot).

Anyway, I was in pain for a week, had surgery on July 14, and then had a stent in for another 10 days. I didn't eat much during that awful month of July and lost a LOT of weight, which really disturbed me. Reading your question just now made me realize that my bigger-than-expected-weight-loss (from being sick with a kidney stone in July) may have actually been largely due to coming off of the medication. (My set weight of 134-ish might dip to 130 or 131 if I'm ill for several days, but I haven't seen the scale reading 128 since middle school and I was really troubled.)

@annie208 I'm sorry to hear about your kidney stones. I have read that they are a possibility. The scale keeps going up despite my diet and exercise. I have a follow-up soon and may need to seriously consider not taking it anymore.
