@plumto66 I find your return to extensive work outs interesting as I hope to do the same after my ablation for atrial flutter on 9-8. My EP has told me I can return to them now but when I try I get a pounding in my chest when my rate reaches about 150 that I find unpleasant. So now I’m doing brisk walking and calisthenics 3 times per day. I was on Pacer One but stopped per Dr orders 2 weeks ago as it pushed my hr ways to low. My normal resting hr is 44. I’ve had no problems without it other than what I call a skipped heartbeat a few times per day. Interestingly I’ve not noticed that at all in 3 days now. The drug did make me feel rundown and constipated. That is now gone. I’m a 73 yo man hoping to return to my swim and circuit training soon. EP is optimistic I will be able too. Good luck to you.

@plumto66 FWIW, I took 25 mg Metoprolol daily for 5 years until this year, when I was taken off of it following a PVI ablation, It was stopped without titrating and the only side effects that I noticed was a gradual increase in resting heart rate from the low 50s to high 50s.
