I couldn't take sucralfate, I take one 20 mg of omep. in the morning and one 40 mg of omep in the evening and one pepsid at 11am and 2 pepsid at 8pm. finally little or no episodes of the horrible reflux. I don't eat 4 hours before I go to bed and only drink about 10 ounces of filtered water between 6:30 and 7:45 pm and go to bed at 9. I sleep only on my back and on a mattress that is on my mattress and 7 inches higher at the head with 2 or more pillows on top of that and a pillow under my knees so I won't get back pain. I drink no coffee, eat no chocolate or citrus and don't take supplements except b12, e, d3 and one iron pill every other day as I was getting low in ferritin and we are hoping this will work.
