interesting, because I heard info saying once in a lifetime testing is standard in Canada and Europe.
The Lipidologist who I am a patient of did specialized blood testing which
indicated that “statins would not help lower my bad cholesterol” - Repatha is a newer injectable (every two weeks) treatment that helps lower the bad cholesterol.

@reginacl What was the specialized blood testing they did to indicate that statins would not help lower your bad cholesterol? Sure would be great to find this out before starting statins...
