@reginacl Actually, I'm in Europe and my former GP refused to test me on LP(A), as "we don't do that, because we already know everything we need to know". I might ask my current GP at my next appointment...

Boy, I wouldn't hesitate to seek info from another provider. That statement about knowing everything would send me flying out the door. Hope you find someone who is open to learning.

interesting, because I heard info saying once in a lifetime testing is standard in Canada and Europe.
The Lipidologist who I am a patient of did specialized blood testing which
indicated that “statins would not help lower my bad cholesterol” - Repatha is a newer injectable (every two weeks) treatment that helps lower the bad cholesterol.
