No expert here. So many people comment here, I can't remember what your taper was. but I'm wondering why you went from 2 to 5mg instead of 2 to 3mg. I had trouble going from 3 to 2.5 to 2mg. I'm slowly attempting 2 to 1.5mg and having some problems. I'm trying to do a lot of weeding and my hands/wrists are hurting and I'm feeling very tired at times. I have OA and cppd in my hands and it's now aggravated so I may just stay on 2 mg for now until I get past outside work.

@pmrsuzie maybe Try Tylenol for Arthritis, my dr told me abt it and it’s a good stopgap to avoid inc in pred when doing heavy stuff.

@pmrsuzie My rheumatologist recommended the change from 2mg to 5mg. Although the vertigo is gone, I still feel PMR. I'm going to ask his advice. My endocrinologist says I can go to 7.5 without damaging my bones.
