Long term muscle twitching, some pain, ***??

TWITCHING FOR 7 MONTHS?

Started jan 2026.

Twitching all over. Under skin and hands and calves and more
Fatigue and slight dizziness
On and off for 6 months. Now last month lotta twitching. All
Over. And muscle or tendon soreness.

No weakness as of yet. But my joints hurts and twitching won’t stop

Saw 2 neuros in last 7 months. MRI of brain and eeg. All good.

Now second neuro wants spine mri. And I asked for a emg. Which she gave me. Reluctantly.

Waiting on tests. But I’m concerned I have *** and the pain in joints and muscles is weird.
Any help or insight? Appreciated.

I had/have the same symptoms. Fortunately, following a 4 limb EMG my neuro was able to rule out ALS and determine that it is BFS. If you have no weakness, then this is a likely situation for you as well. It shouldn't take long for you to get your EMG results and then hopefully you'll be able to relax. The BFS symptoms may go away or reduce over time. In my case they are pretty much the same and you get used to them even though it isn't pleasant at times. Feel free to reach out with any questions
