@kjc48 Karla, Your house situation must have been a lot to handle in addition to everything else going on in your life! Mold, then rental…and moving again? Good point, on different reasons for infusions making for interesting conversations! Magic was my sister’s dog and we adopted him when she passed. When he was a puppy and she told me the name, I thought “well, that’s different”…but it is perfect for him! In fact, I had stickers made to give out to people that say “I believe in Magic”. Yes, we do go in the infusion room to chat with people, and our hospital has 25 therapy dog teams, which opens up lots of conversation, and the dogs help staff and patients alike (along with family members who are visiting).
