Relief from idiopathic neuropathy with Duloxetine?

My GP recently suggested a "new" treatment for my idiopathic neuropathy with Duloxetine. Nothing has helped until now. I could not function on Lyrica or Neurontin. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced relief without any awful side effects.

I've been taking Duloxetine for several years, but to treat my depression. I haven't noticed any side effects.

I have ideopathic neuropathy in both of my lower legs and feet. It involves just tingling (moderate) no pain and a slight numbness in my left calf. I have been on 20 mg of duloxetine for almost a year and it helps by about 50% which for me is tolerable. There was a slight numbness in my right calf, but it has disappeared. At times, I am not aware of tingling. No side effects. The PN has been going on for about 2 years with no progression. Hope this helps.
