I would wait for the bandages in the groin to start coming off, or come off on their own; I removed mine after an ablation when I was given the okay, but got a large hematoma that may have actually caused some nerve damage in my thigh.

@aard what kind of bandages did you have? Mine are just tape with gauze so a shower would soak the gauze? Thus I have to remove them prior. My last ablation (May 29, 2026) I had no issues taking the bandages off. It also depends on what method they used to close that point. Mine uses a cellulose plug to seal.
