@gently so true. Why we wait so long when we know bone loss starts at 30ish and ramps up at menopause is beyond my comprehension. As I've posted before we have screening colonoscopies, mammograms starting at 40, regular cholesterol screenings, 6-month dental checkups but we ignore osteoporosis when we KNOW medically bone loss begins around 30 AND a Dexa is a cheap and easy way to identify bone loss. Wow. Since roughly 75% of women over 65 have some form of poor bone health wouldn't you think??
