Has anyone been on AlgaeCal supplement?

Hi, my Dr. recommended Algaecal supplement for my osteoarthritis because I don't want to go back on Fosamax. side effects include sarcoma of the jaw. Has anyone been on this supplement? results? It's pretty costly and my insurance won't cover it.

I took Algaecal for a year but had terrible stomach issues with it. I think it’s a good product if you don’t get the gastrointestinal side effects.

I have a sensitive gut and phased it in slowly and have had no issues.

As I understand it the preferred max time now is to quit fosomax/alendronate at the 5 year mark. I also believe from what I have read that the reports of femur fracture are rare.
