Sorry, I totally disagree with this. If one takes it as exactly as ordered, it is called inter dose withdrawal as the body becomes used to to want more as the body has developed a tolerance for it. As for a detox center or a rehab, I had a friend who committed suicide after going to a 6 day detox. I looked into 30 day rehabs, and not only they are outrageous expensive and not the right thing to get off this drug only a long slow patient led tape is the safe way to go.

I'm sure this person's one year withdrawal plan is a truly safe way to go, but I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel. If the person cannot stop taking a very small dose of a medication within a year's time, then the answer might be to stay on it forevermore.
