Urinating too much
Hi, I have been on a few medications for enlarged prostate to help we with my urination frequency. One was silodosin and flow max. Silodosin works better. My concern my condition is getting worst. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Both Tamsulosin (Flomax) and Silodosin are alpha-blockers. They both relax muscles in the prostate and bladder neck to ease urine flow.
Have they prescribed Finasteride for you? Finasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase-inhibitor that shrinks the prostate to improve urinary flow. If you have an enlarged prostate, that may work better for you.
Urinating too much (a volume issue) or too often (a frequency issue)? If it's too much, how is your blood sugar? Drinking too much? If it's too frequently ... the previous comment is a good starting place to discuss with your urologist. Combined therapy with one of the alpha-blockers and one of the inhibitors works well for many people .... but it often takes several months for the inhibitor to sufficiently shrink the prostate to gain much relief. PSA OK? Have you had a digital rectal exam lately? My journey into the PCa world started with frequency issues ...
Not sure what you mean by too much. If you mean, you’re having urgency and feel like you have to go too often there are solutions for that.
I take Myrbetriq and Gemtesa Works the same. Both drugs stop urgency. I used to wake up at least two or three times every night feeling I had to go knowing I didn’t. Started taking Myrbetriq Twice a day and I don’t get up at night anymore. Maybe once a month, I’ll have a full bladder and have to get up, That’s it.
