Normally almost anywhere you have some extra subcutaneous fat is okay for other meds but there are some particular reasons why Radius Tymlos guidance is lower abdomen only 2 inches from belly button and or scars like an appendix scar. The abdomen is one of the largest per square inch areas of subcutaneous fat aided in better absorption of the drug.
John’s Hopkins says:
The abdomen is a common site for subcutaneous injections due to the layer of fat present, while the flank is less commonly used and may not be as effective for certain medications. It's important to follow the guidance from the drug manufacturer…they will have instructions on the best injection sites.

@osteopatient2026 personally I would prefer to give the injections in my derrière, lol.
