@clarbs6, the endocrinologist at Stanford who ran the clinical trials says that he hardly ever give the medication the second year, as the effects are sufficient for two years in most patients. You might ask for bone markers in September and again in February to see if you need the infusion.

Since Evenity is a one year only drug I’m confused about “the Stanford doctor hardly ever does a second year” ?
From what I’ve been finding in my research Reclast maintains your gains but Prolia does both and continues to gain modestly over 10 years? Is that what you have found?
That and what are your BMD numbers of improvements in percentages as well as tscores might have some bearing on what maintenance drug to go to.
