To me it sounds like you're discounting anything not supported by large scale studies. If I'm wrong then I misinterpreted your comment. If I'm right then it would be tossing aside many of the options available to us, which is anyone's prerogative. I'm on 3mg LDN which is helping me transition from prednisone to kevzara. It is an off label use that is not supported by large scale studies. LDN is more widely studied and prescribed for fibromyalgia than for PMR, MS, chronic pain or fatigue but even those studies are small in comparison to the studies required for new drugs. Kevzara is approved for PMR but actemra is not, even though both are very similar. Actemra did not have the results from a large scale study to support FDA approval for PMR treatment, but it is sometimes still prescribed and works.
