Priming Tymlos pen?

@cathyf31 my Tymlos pen only works from the priming mode. It never switched to a number. I called the Tymlos Clinical educator, but my registration has gone through yet. I did that last night. I had to leave a callback number, so now I am waiting to hear from the specialty pharmacist.
They will probably want me to come see them.
The whole thing is a hassle.

@alidamc
The nurses at Tymlos have been pretty good…go with them. They will get back to quickly…
This is the proper way to pursue this in case you have any insurance issues. You will have done things the right way.

@alidamc I don't understand this statement. There's no such thing as "priming mode." Priming the pen just means turning the dial to 80 and pressing the button to release one dose -- without injecting the needle into the skin. Are you not clicking the pen to 80 every single day? It goes back to zero every time you use it. YOU have to set it to 80 every day; it's not automatic.

@alidamc The 80 that appears is the only number you will see (when you twist the green dial all the way, which is 8 clicks).
