I didn't know Depends pad were a new design, but I didn't start buying them until last May. Couple times I have had leaks with not that much actually in the pad. Also, have tight briefs. Think sometimes I must not get the pad position correctly. Sometimes when lifting weights they get soaked, but don't leak. Then today for the second time I got a leak and hardly any wetness in the pad, except on left edge. Must not have had pad put in correctly.
