Anyone getting rage from a patient on prednisone?

My wife is not scared of her medical situation, she knows 100% exactly what is going on, and indeed persuaded the coordinating nurse to re-schedule one of her meds to her liking, as she has been taking that med for 30 years...
We were well briefed about the side effects (moody), but this was full blown roid rage. However the two issues she was upset about have already been resolved.
She currently is back in the Mayo getting a sodium IV, as it is very low... Otherwise she is doing great, 2 days ago she walked 1000 yards... Oh and her meds in 10 days have been altered 4 times...

Hope you’re hanging in there! Years ago I took this medication and got so nasty that my husband of 30 plus years later confessed that he almost consulted a divorce lawyer. Luckily he recognized the side effects and waited until I could stop the med. So glad he was wiser than I. Our marriage only ended at his passing 25 years later.

I'm so glad that your wife is doing much better and things are being resolved! That is wonderful that she walked 1000 yards and they are getting her medications straightened out. Plus receiving some Sodium when hers was low is very important. I'll say a prayer for her that things continue to work out good for her.
