@cruisenurse I expect you know already that amiodarone requires follow up periodically? Your cough may be something quite unrelated to amiodarone, but amiodarone may not be 'helping you along', if you knowwhattamean. Personally, I would feel much better knowing and would consult with a pulmonologist.

@gloaming Thank you so much for your input, much appreciated. I have been on the Ami since January, doctor mentioned taking me off of it in May , we did blood work to see if there were any side effects with kidney, liver, n he is watching my skin n corneas too. We are weaning me (200 mg to 100 mg to 50 mg since the May visit) n I suspect (hope) next visit in Sept . it will be disc. I read about the Ami n Pulmonary fibrosis so am worried now of course. If the cough worsens or even persists , I picture a pulmonologist in my future thank you for that idea?
