Namaste,
For me, my fibromyalgia started with childhood and teenage trauma. That trauma shaped how my brain developed and kept my body stuck in a constant state of "fight or flight" as I grew up.

Years later, a head-on car crash brought it all to the surface.

My body was already overloaded, and that physical crash triggered 24/7 pain that has never stopped. Because I didn't realize how much unaddressed emotional trauma affects physical health, it brought on my fibro and other health conditions much earlier in life than expected. It really shows how connected the brain and body are! 💡🩵

@calmmylife57 wow! As I was reading your post I felt like I war rereading my life over again. I too had childhood trauma…a lot of emotional trauma…and was in a constant state of fight or flight. I too had a head on collision which thankfully wasn’t as bad as it could have been but totaled my car and left me with some mild injuries. Now I’m left wondering if that is what had lead to this with additional emotional trauma along the way. Thank you for sharing!
