@janetes it’s great that she’s progressing. This is a major life changer for most people, it will likely take her awhile to get used to a new normal. Did she ask you to move in? Has she asked you to stay? Her process will evolve over time - hopefully she likes her program, her groups, her sponsor. Let her know you’re there for her, listen to her, get support for yourself. I wish her and you much success in the journey!

Sounds like she is doing all the right things. The important thing is to continue her recovery process. I am glad she is in an outpatient program, so still getting treatment to help with the transition. Hopefully she will make new sober friends and find sober activities to participate in.
