Any hopeful prostate cancer stage 4 stories?

My husband was diagnosed in June. His P.S.A was 4.6. His gleason 3+4. So we thought his disease would be localized. But Pet Scan showed bone spread. We are terrified. Any encouraging word would be appreciated

I have had both knees and one hip replaced while on ADT. One knee was before I started an ARPI the other knee and hip were after.

I was in an online meeting with a group today and one of the people there was concerned because his doctor told him that there was no problem getting his knee replaced, but he should start his drugs a few days before and not restart them for two weeks after. My case I only had to stop them three days before and three days after. He was on ADT and ARPI and a PARP inhibitor.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year and also with stage 4 as it had extended into abdominal and chest lympgland area. I started hormone therapy as a 6 month injection and later began Xtandi pills. Now my PSA is at .014. Aside from Hot Flashes and low energy I’ve been doing well. Starting exercise and diet to follow many other’s recommendations.

@dan67 great news- you are gonna do fine.. get after the exercise program and eat good food, get your rest..lots of water ! your immune system will take over and suppress anything the chemo/ADT over looks !
