56 YO. I have a 4+3 Gleason score. PET scan indicates no metastasis.

I am torn between surgery and radiation. I'm wondering if there are any 'young' men with a similar diagnosis who chose radiation/ADT and what their thoughts, experiences, and results were.

Did they give you a PIRADS score from your MRI?

I’m 74, Gleason 8, confined to prostate. I chose radiation only, 28 sessions. I’m in good health overall, still enjoy sex. I was not willing to take hormones because of potential side effects and removal of prostate was also out of the question. Just my choice. Side effects from radiation not too bad. I’m 22 days post radiation and seem to be getting back to normal. Have not had PSA yet.
