Excellent. You are wise to have counseling. Many men would not be as wise. Losing a partner is awful and life shattering, but with time the grieved one usually learns to live and be happy again, but it takes time, and maybe some work.

G'afternoon, Ray ~
Re-animate and re-populate - wonderful energy there! I also work on that, literally daily, in one form or another. And to be realistic, there will be days when I feel less optimism than others, for any number of reasons - weather, barometer, quality/quantity of sleep, getting overtired especially when feeling almost normal - "Hey! I can do ALL my errands today - I feel great and I'm moving along really well....hardly any pain, even." Then the next day, well...I may not even feel like I'm among the living! But those days are far outnumbered with the ones when I feel blessed beyond description by the presence of God and the wonderful human relationships that He has offered to me and enabled me to enjoy through any number of means. MayoConnect is definitely one. Thinking of you, my friend, and praying for ever-increasing good days in your life!
