Has anyone gotten a second opinion before lung cancer surgery?

Has anyone gotten a second opinion for lung cancer surgery!
I was somewhat scared to because it is with the same group of doctors. I’m sure I will be told the same thing, but it was the it was presented to me that made me nervous.. I actually have three choices.
But the doctor said he was going to do a lobectomy and left out the other 2 choices until I pulled it out of him.
It just made me feel uncomfortable..

Hi @bogy, I hope your surgery went as planned, and you are starting to heal. Give yourself time. Walk if you are able and make sure you rest too. One day at a time.

Yes thankyou fpr upir reply i have been home for 2 days and in a lot of
paim. Walking short walks when able. Dr said lumph nodes look clean and
does not think i need any further treatment but will be seeing him in 2
weeks and will get pathology report. The worst pain is getting in and out
of bed and coughing. Hopefully it will all go well and pain should ease up
after 2nd week. Thanks again and i will keep posting as i learn more. Take
care.
