You sound like me....I am 70 with inherited family cholesterol..been on and off stations for 20 years...finally stopped them because of leg muscle issues. I had a CABGX3 in 2014; that has now closed up. My heart is now running on 2 HP rather than 6 Horsepower per my next level Interventional Cardiologist from Duke Hospital. I've been on Repatha and Zetia since Feb. '26 which brought my LDL down to 202 after being at 298. I find this world of Cholesterol and numbers so questionable. I am now living off of heart meds to alleviate the Angina symptoms. I've been on plant based eating for 5 years.
