@californiazebra Wow that IS scary, hopefully the bleeding enhanced by the Eliquis in your brother's case caught that cancer early enough to where treatment was effective, and he had a good outcome!
And hopefully your taking the Eliquis will continue to keep your TIAs or any possible strokes at bay.

Thank you. Unfortunately, his cancer was already advanced and the massive heart attack he had that stopped his heart did major damage. He was 56 at the time, slender fit golfer seemingly in great health until suddenly he wasn’t. The outside can be deceiving about what’s going on inside.
I’m hoping to get a PFA ablation this fall. I’m so ready to be done with this afib. I’ve had no less than 150 long episodes in the past 5 years triggered by a breast cancer med. The episodes went from 1-2 per week to 1-2 month when I stopped Kisqali after 5 years. I was a hard sell on Eliquis but so glad I finally agreed to it. I don’t do well with most meds but so far so good with Eliquis. Hope others can have some peace of mind with Eliquis too. ❤️
