Sorry to read of your experience. I am personally so sick and tired of SO MANY MEN writing that even though they HAD the neurovascular bundles preserved so erections could happen, IT NEVER EVER HAPPENS. I think the urologists are flat-out lying to us. The failure rate of neurovascular bundle preservation must be over 90%.
After 18 months of divorce and 17 months post-op with not even the hint of an erection, I have finally decided to jump back into the dating pool, but...I absolutely dread the moment that I have to tell potential partners that "I can't perform for you and satisfy you, because I have ED from my prostatectomy." That will likely kill each and every relationship that I try to start. I haven't cried in a LONG time...since my parents died...but I am pretty certain that I will cry when each woman rejects me and ends the relationship because I can't satisfy her. Horrible...just horrible.

@rlpostrp

I had 44 radiation treatment and 4 months of Lupron at age 83 for an 11 PSA count with 4 of 12 biopsy cores positive (3+4, 3+4, 3+4. 4+4 Gleason scores). My PSA dropped from 11 to <0.03 and testosterone to 111. New data indicates that TRT to raise my low testosterone does not promote cancer. I started TRT 2 weeks ago and have had some return of libido after a week and side effects have dropped. Still no firm erections but maybe given time I will recover. You should talk to your doctor about TRT if your testosterone is low.
