Hi Kahnie,
My liver levels seem to be have remained steady over the course of my treatment.
Thank you for your reply.

@kahnie563, I'm glad that your cancer team is monitoring your liver and blood levels. What chemotherapy are you on? Have you been able to continue treatment?
@colleenyoung I am currently on FOLFORI. In the past completed FOLFOX and Vectebix. I have been able to continue various treatments, but had to stop FOLFOX due to bad reaction after 10 treatments, and Vectebix stopped working. Had Y90 targeted treatment on liver which seemed successful.

1 ReactionI received 5-FU and mitomycin for anal cancer and finished my radiation and chemotherapy in March. In May I had follow-up CT of chest and MRI of abdomen. Note: I have never had liver problems. My chest CT showed no cancer but calcifications in my coronary arteries. My MRI showed no cancer but a fatty liver. I had blood work for liver enzymes and now will be seeing a cardiologist because my blood work was SO abnormal and put it me high risk for a cardiac event. CT of the chest and MRI of the abdomen before treatment did not show these problems. So yes I believe the Chemotherapy affected my liver.
@colleenyoung
Yes I have continued with treatment . Had infusions delayed due to high liver levels . They did a c scan to make sure my liver wasn't damaged . Everything came out good. They ran test on different things and ruled those out. They lowered my infusions . Just had one on Tuesday and everything went good.
