Valuable info. Glad you had such a good outcome! My brother started a blood thinner after quadruple bypass and that led to a cancer diagnosis when it caused an asymptomatic malignant esophageal tumor he didn’t know he had to start bleeding. So, yes, sometimes there is a hidden reason for the excessive bleeding. I’ve been on Eliquis for afib for 10 months now and no issues. I haven’t had any more TIAs since I’ve been on it. Yay!

@californiazebra Wow that IS scary, hopefully the bleeding enhanced by the Eliquis in your brother's case caught that cancer early enough to where treatment was effective, and he had a good outcome!

And hopefully your taking the Eliquis will continue to keep your TIAs or any possible strokes at bay.
