Hello.! Has anyone taken Tymlos every other day due to side effects?

Posted by lynnsusan @lynnsusan, 1 day ago

I am on week 7 of Tymlos and have had very painful back muscle pain, burning and pulling the last 4 days.I want to continue the med every other day hoping that helps. I don’t want to quit! I had an MRI, no fractures. I think it is side effects. Anyone else experience this?

Are you staying well hydrated throughout the day and before injection?
Are you having a little something to eat an hour before like salted pretzels or something similar to help you retain fluid?
Are you getting calcium, D and K2?

As osteopatient2026 suggested, I think hydration is key. Increase your water intake throughout the day, I think you may feel significantly better.

Maybe it's better to reduce the number of clicks on the pen, instead of taking it every other day?
