What was the size of your nodule?
My nodule per PET is very bright.
I haven't met the surgeon yet I hope I get the feel that I trust her!
I don't understand why the pulmonologist locally who did the bronchoscopy 2 years ago said it was not malignant?
Thank you for helping me on this journey.
Your response has helped ease my mind

@sallik74 The first time is was noticed it was 8mm, 9 years later it was 22mm. I never got notified when it was found the first time! PET scans can light up inflammation and infections as well, but these nodules were there 2 years ago, that probably isn’t the case. Your nodules may not have been cancerous yet? I don’t know. It is best to get on it and not wait. That is, seeing a specialist, pulmonologist, Surgeon, etc. Like I said, just make sure you feel comfortable and that whatever they say, truly makes sense to you, or get a second opinion. You have to believe in the Doctor you choose. It sure helps when you go through all the processes.
