HI @mummy12 -Where are you having your ASA? Are you having it at Mayo Clinic? How old are you? Were you evaluated for myectomy as well?

ASA has been reserved for older patients or patients who are not otherwise able to have septal myectomy, but there are doctors who have been advocating to open up the indications to younger folks.

Ablation is really suitable for those patients who do not also need valve repair and whose septal anatomy is amenable. Your septal perforators need to be located in the right place or else the alcohol won't hit the right place.

Madem.
I wish to be treated in US mayo clinic of hughest repute.
I don't and I can't compell the doctor for this or that procedure. Whatever therapy or medical procedure is suitable for me as per diagonostics, has to be followed.
But I am serving here in Pakistan as government officer and my department has to bear the cost of my treatment over there, thats why U request to give me probale estimate with plus minus so that I can cash it from finance department in Pakistan and able to travel to US.
Regards.
