@sami51929 Hi. My welts and hives continued strongly for about 3 months (taking 5-8 days to fade...so typically, 5 to 8 angry hives/welts on my belly at any given time), then they started to lessen. I still get raised areas (1 or 2), but they typically are less severe and they fade within a day or two. I'll apply a little Benedryl Cream, when they surface more angrily than usual....and sometimes will hold an ice cube (wrapped in a Kleenex) against the spot. My immune system decided to stop responding so terribly, starting around that 3-month mark. My provider and each specialty pharmacists wanted me to discontinue the medicine, but it was my last option, before having to default to Reclast, so I begged and pleaded to stay on. I can only tolerate the 1/2-dose (40 mcg), due ro other side effects. So, for me, my body adjusted over time, it still takes my body over 24 hours to react at the injection site, before it starts to flare. Trying to come up with specifics that may cause some injections to flare worse than others, but I have not been able to identify a pattern.
