@dederickve I make a point of inviting friends for lunch, tea, or to meet at a restaurant. The socializing is great for us both. Some are aware of the MCD, some aren’t. By the way the word is “cavalry” 😊

@dederickve I tell my husband every day. We will never forget each other - we are here for each other whether our family appears too busy to check in. He told me last month we are care partners for each other. And I chuckle because I'm the one caring for him! We still go out once or twice a week for an early dinner. Last night I told him I was going to get tickets for our local theatre where they bring in Broadway. He was never big on that, but it's close to home, around people, and something he now appears interested in.
