Crazy Mystery Bruises
I'm about 15 months post RARP and my PSA is unde tect able. I'm in good general health and I feel "normal". A few mornings ago I woke up with some small bruises on my calf and down to my ankle. I didn't really think anything of it till I discovered some more bruises today. They are about the size of a dime and in clusters of 2-3 from my calf to my ankle. They aren't tender or swollen, etc and they don't hurt. I don't know of anything that would have caused them. I haven't fallen etc and I didn't wrestle a grizzly bear recently. Anyone experience this? I know if I go to my PCP they are going to look at them and go Hmmmmm and shrug.

1 ReactionDo you take blood thinners
I do not take blood thinners but I take Tadalafil 5 Mg a day.
I would go to PC and ask for complete blood count and metabolic panel - just to be on a safe side. Many things can cause unexplained bruising, inclooding some supplements but it is prudent to check this out with your doctor.

Research fixed drug eruptions. I got them with sildenafil. I don’t get them with tadalafil. Rare side effect of pde5. Talk with doc very soon.

1 ReactionAre you on steroids such as prednisone? I had unexplained bruising when I was on a nasal steroid and it was getting into my system through interaction with another drug. Epidermis also became like tissue paper and easily tore. None of this was related to cancer or cancer drugs. Skin returned to normal after I stopped the nasal spray.
