Yes, very interesting. They’ve been touting statins for years as a tool against PCa, but adding Viagra is a novel twist.
I wonder when GLP-1’s will be mentioned? So far, they seem to be the drug du jour for just about everything.
Call me cynical, but every time I read news like this I wonder if drug companies are combing vast data bases to find even a hint that a drug of theirs ‘might’ be associated with some kind of benefit in treating a completely different disease. Apply for a new patent use and voila - a new revenue stream…
Of course, it DOES happen, but everything is just so hyped today by social media you really have to wonder if it’s real or total BS.
However, still a good article and food for thought…

Very interesting!

I also remember a Dr. John Mullhal (well regarded and well-known sexual function doctor who does a ton of presentations and programs) saying that the sexual function cocktail for older men is the combination of a blood pressure medicine, statins and a PDE5 inhibitor. I think the main concept is heart health in this case.

If the combination also starved the cancer, even better.
