There have been a lot of questions about what to eat with neuropathy. I know each person is different. This was sent to me and I am sharing with you. I hope this works for you. I have made some of the changes.

I would agree. I have noticed a direct correlation between the foods that I eat and my neuropathy. If i eat something that is high in saturated fat, I get a spike or 'jolt' in my neuropathic pain shortly after eatting it, and I am NOT diabetic.

My neuropathy is caused by my celiac disease. So I have been on a gluten free diet since July 2025. By not ingesting gluten which includes wheat, rye, barley, my neuropathy is kept on the mild side. So I do agree that what we eat and what occurs in our guts is truly related to neuropathy and perhaps other neurological diseases. No medicines needed but the gluten-free foods tend to cost more. Better labeling of foods is also needed so our government should respond to this.

I already eat a antinflammatory diet, I'm healthy (low cholesterol, normal BP, and a 21 bmi), but who doean't love a good burger ever now and then. So now I tend to be careful when selecting any meats. I try to keep everything at or below 3g of saturated fat or I will pay for it later.
