My Mayo pharmacist specialist (went through and hour meeting to go over all my medications and supplements) stated I should take my medications and supplements with food except for medication specifically requiring empty stomach and/or no food.
If you have access to doing this interface I would suggest it. Mayo Jacksonville offers it and I learned a lot. I was taken off about 1/2 dozen supplements saying would interfere with my medications. I had no idea it was an issue.
You mentioned indigestion so maybe taking with food could help. I know I take Mexiletine and it can cause nausea and indigestion if not taken with food. My medical doctors said this is an individual thing as for some no indigestion and for some like me indigestion.
We are all individuals and what will bother one person will not bother another. So I take the mexiletine with food and no indigestion.
If you have access to doing a pharmacist visit to go over all your medications and supplement I would strongly suggest that. It really helped me. My insurance (Medicare) covered it.
