I feel for you in extreme. I have suffered with a hiatal hernia right at my esophagus and digestive as far back as age three! I’m 70 and after so many episodes of missed family events, concerts, etc I have finally found help.
I am taking four capsules of goat colostrum for a month and nearly all pain and misery are…GONE! It’s a miracle - I had no clue how it felt to not have the burn and misery until about ten days after I started. I do have occasional heartburn, nausea and gut pain, but rarely now!
It might give you some relief-I hope it does. Truly hope so.

Thank you for sharing! I'm 74 and used to raise Nubian dairy goats. The milk is delicious. Because goats do not carry tuberculosis or brucellosis, the milk does not need to be pasteurized. Goat colostrum is healthy and I'm glad you are reaping its benefits.
Re: the hernia, there really isn't any pain or burning. It just sticks out like a 2" volcano on my belly. I can't where any form fitting clothes, Oh well, it could be worse. Because it doesn't cause any pain or burning and it reduces when I lay down, they've decided trying to fix it might be opening a can of worms.
My biggest problem is from chemo causing a massive pulmonary embolism on my right pulmonary artery along with all of its branches and subbranches, I still get short of breath and dizzy. The radiation caused bilateral sacral fractures - worst pain I have ever have. With of this I've lost some of my strength and energy. I've had to reduce my caseload of patients. I go up and down the stairs one step at a time as I don't want to reinjure my sacrum.
After 50 years of wanting a medicine wheel garden, I'm doing it. It's going next to my cottage garden. My grandson and handyman have been helping me. it's more of an oblong 48' x 38' and will be filled with herbs.
I've pretty much decided no on the surgery. Knowing they can't get it all, and I could be left with ongoing leg problems, high risk, and not done that often, it doesn't sound like a good option. If I were 20 when I was a risk taker, I might be more favorable of it. At 74, I'm going to live mt life my way and do what I want. Something I try to instill in my patients is no matter how bad we may think we have it, someone always is worse off. Enjoy your day!
