I had 3 discs fused thru the back of my neck with spacers two years ago. I regained control of my hands. It's not perfect but I am able to function in normal duties and lifestyle. I do have pain when I sit too long or move too much. Life is a happy medium. I pay with pain if I don't follow the rules. Pain is controlled with Advil. I am an 80 year old female who's led an active life. My bones are considered in degeneration. Yes I would have surgery again.
