@sandrakujak I can't be sure or advise you....not there, don't know you...don't know what it was like in your house before the new installation, but on the face of it, I'd say the new climate control is moving air in a frequency that makes part of the delivery channel, the ducting vibrate in a new harmonic that is literally driving you crazy.
When water moves through a pipe or a hose, and when air moves through ductwork, the drive mechanism behind it impels it with pulses, and those pulses come at a frequency dependent on the design of the impeller/propeller system AND ALSO on the voltage being supplied by the power supply, which governs how rapidly the electric motor spins the axle on which the fan rests. This imparts a thrumming or a drumming or a hum or a whistle or a whine....something audible, and in your case, intrusive.
And, on a practical matter, you would probably ask them to send a female office employee, or a wife, whose hearing is likely to be more like yours, unlike the probably stunted hearing of the typical male installer of a sort who has been using power tools and hammers to manipulate steel sounding boards (sheet metal ductwork) for the better part of a decade or two. A 'nuther woman would probably be able to back you up when you say you're hearing something objectionable because she'd stand a good chance of hearing it as well. Or, a sympathetic and knowledgeable installer who has dealt with this once or twice and knows where/how to provide relief.
I would contact the installer and ask if they have a way to alter the settings, or to place baffles, or to put a damper somewhere to help to reduce the pulsing and the attendant noise. Somebody at that outfit has had to deal with this problem because, believe it or not, you're not the first person to be dismayed at their bran' spankin' new HVAC system due to new components and different speeds of medium movement.
