I have been on a lower dose of Klonopin for 18 years and I am finding it difficult to taper at a much lower dose. Your best bet is to find a doctor/practitioner who uses the Ashton method of Tapering. Most MD's just prescribe Klonopin being ignorant of correct tapering and the risk of seizures is significant as well as intense rebound anxiety. I am your age and have been struggling with tapering safely for years. Find a doctor/practioner who knows the Ashton method of Tapering..it is slow but safe. You can Google it.
