I'm similar, and sorry, no solutions. I wake up multiple times a night and also have insomnia fairly often, but this predates my ischemic stroke. The waking up, I think, is fairly common among "seniors" -- others I know have it, too. I take a Rx med sometimes for insomnia, but I don't want to take it too often. I was quite fatigued after each stroke, even though they were mild, but it's getting better. I exercise most days to whatever intensity I feel capable of that day, and I've built up my strength.
